Meet Principal Seymour

Shiloh Seymour is back for her second time being at Box Elder School District. She first came in 1999 to become a first grade teacher. She taught first grade for 4 years and then she became the 7-12 Special Education teachers at Box Elder for 7 years. During her time here from 1999-2010 she also coached girls basketball at the High School, Junior High and Elementary levels. Her teams performed pretty well on the court. She also coached JH volleyball for a few years as well. Mrs. Seymour left following the school year of 2010 to take a job in Harlem to become the elementary assistant principal and then became the building principal at Harlem Elementary from 2010-2021. During her time at Harlem Elementary, the school received the bronze and silver banner for MBI. Harlem Elementary also received an award for high achieving academically in 2017. Mrs. Seymour then moved to Malta and was the elementary principal there for two years.

Now that Mrs. Seymour is back at Box Elder as the new Elementary Principal, she is excited to work with new and old colleagues and is excited to work with the Apple technology that is all throughout the district. She has also gotten reacquainted with former students and ball players and has a great opportunity  working with their children. She likes building positive relationships with the students and watching them grow academically. Mrs. Seymour also loves students who cherish following school rules.

Shiloh Seymour has 5 children ages from 28 to 16 and is married to Mike Seymour. Shiloh has started her 25th year in education and is excited to continue it here at Box Elder School. Bear pride was strong in 1999 and is even stronger now in 2023. Mrs. Seymour feels that it is a blessing to be back where it all started in her educational career.
