***The October 2024 Tutoring and Box Elder School District***

Next week we will be participating in College Application Week and we have lots of different college opportunities for all 9-12 graders. Tuesday October 8th Seniors will have the opportunity to apply to all colleges that are part of the Montana University System (MUS). Starting at 9:30 in the morning, in Ms. Maroney's room. Wednesday October 9th Seniors will have the opportunity to apply for SCC. This is a great opportunity as SCC sends people to talk about all Stone Child has to offer. They are an amazing resource to have as Seniors work through the whole college process. Thursday all 9-12th graders who have registered for the TekNoXpo at MSU Northern and returned their permission slips will be heading to Northern for the day to check out different career tracks. Please have permission slips turned in by Wednesday the 9th, the bus will be leaving at 8:20 sharp Thursday!

***The Volleyball game vs Hays on Friday, October 4, 2024 has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2024. The rescheduled game will be a Varsity only game***.

**** The Sunburst Refiners have officially forfeited Saturday's home game. This is due to injuries. We are officially switching Homecoming Week Activities for Next Week. All Homecoming activities and such will coincide with our College Application Week activities. The week will move forward as usual school days. THERE WILL BE NO FOOTBALL GAMES AT ALL. The Junior High Football game with Rocky Boy has been cancelled. Homecoming Week events will be published by the end of the week. ***

There has been an incident near Box Elder Public School and law enforcement is involved. All precautions are being taken to ensure staff and student safety. There does not appear to be any danger to students or staff. School will be released early at 1:00pm. All busses will run their routes at that time.
