21st CCLC ACTIVITIES FOR BOX ELDER ELEMENTARY ARE DONE AFTER TODAY!

***Hello Box Elder Bear Parents and Guardians*** We need your help with something fun. This week we are doing our staff Appreciation, and we are celebrating by using a Hollywood theme and treating our teachers and staff like movie stars! One activity we have planned is based off the movie “Meet the Parents,” and we need your help. We are inviting all our parents to record a short video of yourselves giving the teacher or staff member of your choice a message of appreciation. These can be heartfelt and straightforward, or you can use the movie “Meet the Parents” as inspiration and do a humorous video using quotes or jokes from the movie… or even impressions of Robert DeNiro??? A good way to do this is to think of something specific one of our staff did for your child this year or in past years, such as taking extra time with an assignment, or giving an extra word of encouragement. Simply describe what happened and tell them thank you. Recording video messages might take some of you out of your comfort zones, but it truly will mean a lot to the teachers, and there is no wrong way for you to do this. You can do this today or any time through the end of the year. Once you have a video, please simply email it directly to your teacher or staff member with the subject “Meet the Parents.” You also can share it to our facebook or send it to Ms. Gemar at mgemar@boxelder.k12.mt.us. It is our hope that each teacher and staff member will have many messages of appreciation emailed to them throughout the week. We are also creating awards for whoever received the most submissions, the funniest, and the most heartfelt. So, by submitting a video you could be helping your teacher win a prize! Thank you, everyone, and we hope you have fun with this too! P.S. We think the teachers will love to see you in video form, but if you really don’t want to do a video, submitting a short email message of appreciation will work too. Thank you!”

***Attention all Box Elder Bear Seniors, Parent's and Guardians*** ******Last week of school as a Box Elder Bear***** Wednesday - FINALS, go to all your classes for finals. (If you are not here, you will have to make up the final on Thursday and not go on the Senior trip.) Thursday - Senior trip. The bus leaves sharply at 8:30 am. The bus will not wait. Be here at least 15 minutes before. Friday - Assembly 9 am All seniors must attend. Then we will start decorating and practicing for graduation. Once setup and practice is done you will check out with Ms. Gemar. Saturday - Be to the school at noon. We will meet in Nepoose's room. Where you will get stoles and tassels. Graduation will promptly start at 1 pm. Make sure you have your cap and gown with you.

***Attention all JH and 5th and 6th Grade Box Elder Bear and Lady Bears Parents and Guardians*** We will have our full year athletic awards assembly in the gymnasium at 2:00pm today. Readings start at 7:00 pm. We have two elementary students doing Cree readings from our Cree Language class.
